Is my child
in Heaven is one of the first questions out of the mouths of
grieving parents. Grasping
for every straw, hope, and assurance that they will see their
child some day.
A biblical
illustration of this is found in the book of II Samuel where
King David, after the lost of his infant son, said that though
he could not bring him back to life, that he (King David) will
be reunited with his son again some day
Children
are incapable of understanding what is needed to fulfill God's
plan and understanding the need for "the forgiveness of sins".
Christ made provisions for them and is merciful, in case they
should they perish before the age of awareness.
